Maple - Select and Better
Color quite uniform and relatively light.

Maple - Mill run
All natural variants of wood color are allowed, from dark brown to light tone including mineral streaks.

Maple - Rustic
All natural variants of wood color are allowed, from dark brown to light tone including mineral streaks and knots.

RED OAK

Red Oak - Clear
Uniformity in appearance and light color.

Red Oak - Select
Slight variation in color from medium brown to light beige.

Red Oak - Mill run
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light brown. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks.

Red Oak - Rustic
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light brown. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks and knots.

YELLOW BIRCH

Yellow Birch - Clear
Uniformity in light color tones.

Yellow Birch - Select
Slight variation in color from medium brown to light brown.

Yellow Birch - Mill run
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks.

Yellow Birch - Rustic
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks and knots.

WHITE ASH

White Ash - Select and Better
Slight variation in color from light tones to very light tones.

White Ash - Mill run
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks.

White Ash - Rustic
Strong variation in color from very dark brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks and knots.

CHERRY

Cherry - Select and Better
Very light variation in wood color normally in reddish pale tones.

Cherry - Mill run
Strong variation in color from very dark reddish brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks.

Cherry - Rustic
Strong variation in color from very dark reddish brown to light tone. All natural color tints are allowed including mineral streaks and knots.

WALNUT

Walnut - Select and Better
Uniformity in medium brown color tints.

Walnut - Mill run
Strong variation in color from medium brown to very dark brown including streaks.


Some species are also available in the "Pacific" category (wood not selected).

Some grades such as the rustic are available only on accumulation.
